Marguerete Luter is President and owner of The Process Pro, an LLC fueling organization growth strategically and tactically through focus on strategic planning, business process, organization development and operations. Ms. Luter’s entire career has been focused on helping organizations grow.
Before founding The Process Pro, Ms. Luter held significant positions with Unisys Corporation. Just prior to leaving Unisys, she was the Vice President, Global Bid Management for the Global Infrastructure Services business unit. Before assuming that role, Ms. Luter was Vice President, Global Network Services Delivery for the Unisys U. S. Federal Government Group. n an expanded role, Marguerete also chaired the Unisys Federal Employee Diversity Council that focused on the creation and implementation of a Diversity Strategic Action Plan to serve as the Unisys Federal platform for the achievement of the business objectives. For her work with the Diversity initiative in 1999, she was recognized with a U. S. Federal Government Group President’s award, and in June 2000 she was appointed by the CEO of Unisys to his Global Diversity Council and forum. Before joining Unisys in December 1998, Marguerete Luter was at Xerox Corporation for over 20 years where she held a variety of significant line management and staff positions in their U.S. Customer Service Operations organization. While there, she was recognized numerous times for the performance of her operations, consistently overachieving financial and customer satisfaction objectives.
Ms. Luter has a Master’s degree in guidance and counseling from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D. C. She is a Past President of Women in Technology (WIT), where she has served many years on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Mentoring Program. She is now Vice Chair of The Leadership Foundry, the WIT initiative to increase the number of women serving on corporate boards in the DC region. She is also on the board of the STEM for Her Foundation and is currently the Board Chair. She served six years on the national board of The Lupus Foundation of America and also served for several years on the board of the LFA DC / MD / VA Chapter, where she was a Past Chair. Luter was appointed by the Arlington County Board to serve on the advisory Commission on the Status of Women.
She has a personal commitment to the development and advancement of African American women and men, and has worked with and supported a variety of organizations that have this focus. She is a native of Philadelphia but makes her home in the Washington, D.C. area.
